The standards for silverware are a millesimal fineness of 800 and 925, but many objects are considered silver even though they are not. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully check the legal trademarks. Each item must be clearly marked with the millesimal fineness that corresponds to the precious metal contained, in addition to the manufacturer's trademark (province and progressive number).
Before weighing your silverware, you must remove any wooden bases or knives (the blade is steel and there is pitch or sand in the handle). If not, they will be selected by our laboratory.
At this point, you can enter the total weight and select the carats stamped on the material in the space provided and you will see the theoretical value which we will pay when the operation has been completed.
Upon arrival of the goods at our premises, our laboratory reserves the right to carefully examine the real content of pure silver in the silverware sent and we will communicate the net value that we will pay for your valuables.
